So the other day I wanted to eat the banana that I bought from woolies but it turned black so I posted this photo on ma facebook.
Anddddd...What response did I get? Haha..all those I'm-a-weirdo comments. Even get scolded by a good friend! ;( Hahaha what the hell is wrong with me? I was so embarrassed ,even apologized to them haha..After reading their comments, I ONLY suddenly realized that at Home Home I mean malaysia's home if u get what I mean..My dad or maid always put them in a basket on a shelf at ROOM temperature.Okay so I still don't understand why the bananas gone black in the fridge. So since I'm done with my today studies, I decided to search for the REASON.Ha.
The reason IS banana skin is made up of plant cells.And plant cells contain vacuole right? And so if the banana gets too cold , the membrane of the vacuole will be weaken and leak!Then..blah blah blah all those scientific enzyme stuff reason. but ANYWAY, it will still be safe to eat if the bananas were fully ripened before you refrigerated them, even though it will be mushy .Yes I tasted the mushy bananas before.-.- It ain't yummy..
So ..the BEST storing way is to put them at room temperature. silly me. Alright, learnt something.;/

Really a good science stream student XD~...observe n research lo...haha...actually banana put outside refrigerator also would turns dark slowly after some days...;-)...the fren scolded u might be in joking tone wat ..if nt a bit fierce...XD...y u want to apologise?
